Many useful documents can by found at the following web sites:
Chartered Institute for Archaeologists is a professional organisation for archaeologists that contains many useful documents on standards particularly concerned with the professional practice of archaeology.
Council for British Archaeology. Has a lot of helpful advice and documentation including the Community Archaeology Forum and The CBA Practical Archaeology Series.
Historic England have produced an excellent set of free publications. Two examples of obvious relevance for community archaeology are available here: Landscape Survey and Geophysics.
British Archaeological Jobs Resource. This excellent resource developed as a way of finding work in archaeology. There is also a wealth of other good reading on this site.
Warwickshire County Council Museums have provided an excellent Local Studies Toolkit.
The West Yorkshire Archaeology Advisory Service has made a number of advice documents available through the Community Archaeology Forum.
If you are concerned about your digital archives you will find lots of advice on line. I can recommend the Archaeology Data Service for archaeological archives and the Centre for History and New Media for historical material.
